My Approach
I'm Kelsey — a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and licensed behavior specialist (LBS) with nearly a decade of experience supporting individuals, families, and caregivers navigating autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, ADHD, and trauma.
What working with me looks like
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all support. My approach is warm, honest, and individualized — which means I'll meet you where you are, not where I think you should be. I work through a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming lens, which in plain terms means: I see the whole person (or family), I don't pathologize difference, and I believe that behavior always makes sense in context.
I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — a values-based approach that helps people move through difficult thoughts and emotions without getting stuck in them — alongside evidence-based behavior analytic strategies. Together, we'll look at what's actually happening, why it might be happening, and what small, meaningful shifts can start to make life feel more manageable.
What I believe
I got into this work because I believe every person — regardless of how they communicate, learn, or move through the world — deserves to be understood and supported with dignity. That belief shapes everything I do.
Ready to take the next step?
When you're ready, I'm here. There's no perfect moment to start — just the one where you decide you don't want to keep doing this alone.
